With the Luca app, an innovative digital tool for contact registration and tracking will be used in the Mayen-Koblenz district and the city of Koblenz from the end of April.
The Luca system connects guests, companies and the health department and also enables private events to be documented. With the introduction, the Mayen-Koblenz health department is one of six model regions in Rhineland-Palatinate that use the app.
The Luca app is a digital contact diary. Companies and citizens who use the app no longer have to fill out address lists in retail, gastronomy, the hotel industry or leisure facilities. This simple way of contact tracing reduces the effort for manual contact tracing and thus makes the work of the health department much easier. It is also important that the data is encrypted and transmitted securely.
